Erin Elizabeth Photography – Baby, Children, and Family Photographer in Sydney, Australia bio picture

ERIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY | BLOG

I am utterly inspired by babies, children, and the love between families.  Newborn squeaks, baby curiosity, toddler giggles, laughing families...I can't get enough of it all!  Nothing makes me happier than capturing those moments in a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime.

If you take a  look around my website, you can get a good idea of my photographic style.  My husband playfully refers to me as 'the toddler paparazzi', since I tend to let my subjects run wild, while I chase them with a camera.  I usually refer to it as 'lifestyle photography'.  After all, that's essentially what I'm striving to capture...life!

That's me on the left with my own little girl, Delilah.  I'm constantly amazed at how quickly she grows and changes, and forever thankful that I continue to take the time to capture as many of her baby moments as possible.  That's what I love most about photography.  It allows us to steal away little snippets of time that might not seem like anything out of the ordinary when the camera shutter clicks, but will ultimately be the moments that we most treasure after they are long gone.

It would be an honour to be invited to capture the life of your famliy.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Two-years-old and already a diva! | Sydney Child Photographer

Meet Amarli.

I recently discovered that Amarli and I share the same birthday.  I’m just a couple of years older  :)   Maybe there’s just something about being born on that day that makes us a bit alike.  We’re both blonde (well one of us might not be 100% natural blonde, but I digress) with some diva-ish tendencies.  In other words, she’s totally fabulous.  Haha.

For this shoot, we visited the beach first, where we were greeted with some great surf and about a thousand surfers.  We then made our way to the park, where we were practically eaten alive by giant killer mosquitoes.  Poor Amarli had welts all over her by the time we left, and I spent most of the time swatting them away like mad in between every click of the shutter.  Note to self: ALWAYS pack bug spray.

Neverending bundles of energy. | Sydney Children’s Photographer

Meet Anton and Denny.

I have no idea how 5-year-old Anton and 4-year-old Denny’s mum keeps up with them…they never stop running!  Growing up with sisters, all this boy energy is totally new to me.  Their energy and cuteness was completely infectious :)

We decided to head to the beach and the park for this shoot.  We were afraid it was going to rain, but the weather turned out to be perfect!  Yay for nice days in Sydney!

Look at all these beautiful women! | Sydney Children’s Photographer

Meet Sally.

Sally is five years old and just started school last week!  She and her freckles are so adorable that it’s almost hard to comprehend!  She brought along her beautiful sisters (Tayah and Bella) as well as her gorgeous mum, Alison for our photo shoot in Bass and Flinders Park in southern Sydney.  Four beautiful women and a fabulous day…what more could my camera ask for??

It was very very hot, but we decided to run around a little bit in the water to cool off and get some fun shots.  It was such a gorgeous spot that I didn’t even mind the heat!  Plus Sally’s mum treated me to a slushy afterward.  Yum yum!
