Erin Elizabeth Photography – Baby, Children, and Family Photographer in Sydney, Australia bio picture

ERIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY | BLOG

I am utterly inspired by babies, children, and the love between families.  Newborn squeaks, baby curiosity, toddler giggles, laughing families...I can't get enough of it all!  Nothing makes me happier than capturing those moments in a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime.

If you take a  look around my website, you can get a good idea of my photographic style.  My husband playfully refers to me as 'the toddler paparazzi', since I tend to let my subjects run wild, while I chase them with a camera.  I usually refer to it as 'lifestyle photography'.  After all, that's essentially what I'm striving to capture...life!

That's me on the left with my own little girl, Delilah.  I'm constantly amazed at how quickly she grows and changes, and forever thankful that I continue to take the time to capture as many of her baby moments as possible.  That's what I love most about photography.  It allows us to steal away little snippets of time that might not seem like anything out of the ordinary when the camera shutter clicks, but will ultimately be the moments that we most treasure after they are long gone.

It would be an honour to be invited to capture the life of your famliy.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Two Months Old! | Sydney Baby Photographer

How on earth can time seem to pass so quickly when you have a baby??  It is just FLYING BY.  But at the same time, it feels like I can’t even remember what my life was like without her.  So strange.

Our little baby Delilah is going to be 11 weeks old in a few days.  I realized that this morning and was so astounded that I had to check the calendar to be sure that was right.  She continues to be the most amazingly wonderful baby in the world.  We keep pinching ourselves that we lucked out with such a good little girl.  She is so much fun!

We are currently in Perth with my family for Christmas and having an absolutely fabulous time.  In typical Aussie fashion, Delilah seems to love the beach.  We’ve been taking her every morning, and while she slept through her first visit, she’s been taking it all in since then.  This morning she decided she did NOT want to lay down in her beach tent, but rather wanted someone to come in and hold her up so she could see the waves.  As soon as we tried to set her down, she threw a holy fit until she was sitting up and able to see again.  She also liked kicking her toes around in the sand.  We might try sticking her toes in the water tomorrow and see how she likes that.  If her utter adoration for bath time is any indication, I think she’s going to love it!

I finally got around to editing her two month pictures this afternoon.  We took these a few days late, but you get the idea.  She’s still changing on a daily basis!  I love her and her little squishy cheeks so much :)

My baby is growing up! | Sydney Baby Photographer

Where has the past month gone?

Well technically, it’s been over six weeks since our little Delilah came into the world (I’m two weeks behind on my photo editing!) and it’s unbelievable how much she’s changed in that short amount of time.  She literally changes by the day!  I’m trying as hard as I can to savour every moment of her tiny-ness because as soon as I blink, she’s gone and gotten a little bit bigger.  As I write this, she’s already over 11 pounds…and getting cuter by the day, if I do say so myself ;)

I’ve decided I’m going to document her first year through monthly photo shoots.  We took her one month pics a few weeks ago on a scorching hot morning.  Thought I’d share a few with you all.  Love her so much!

She’s Here! | Sydney Newborn Photographer

Everyone…meet my adorable daughter, Delilah!

Delilah was born on October 14th, at 10:58pm, at 7 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long.  She is a bundle of cuteness and we could not possibly love her more, even if she does keep us up all hours of the night :)   So far, she appears to resemble her gaaaawgeous mother (haha), but she definitely has elements of her father (like his fingers and ears!).  She’s also most definitely inherited her stubborn streak from BOTH her parents, however she’s generally a very happy baby who hardly ever cries.  In other words, she’s our little angel!  :)

I took these pics when she was six days old and still in her squishy, bendy newborn stage.  She’s not even three weeks yet, and she’s already outgrown that!  I’m throwing in a couple of pics taken of her a few days ago so you can see how much she’s changed in a week and a half.  It’s amazing how quickly they grow!  ::tear::
