ERIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY | BLOG

I am utterly inspired by babies, children, and the love between families.  Newborn squeaks, baby curiosity, toddler giggles, laughing families...I can't get enough of it all!  Nothing makes me happier than capturing those moments in a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime.

If you take a  look around my website, you can get a good idea of my photographic style.  My husband playfully refers to me as 'the toddler paparazzi', since I tend to let my subjects run wild, while I chase them with a camera.  I usually refer to it as 'lifestyle photography'.  After all, that's essentially what I'm striving to capture...life!

That's me on the left with my own little girl, Delilah.  I'm constantly amazed at how quickly she grows and changes, and forever thankful that I continue to take the time to capture as many of her baby moments as possible.  That's what I love most about photography.  It allows us to steal away little snippets of time that might not seem like anything out of the ordinary when the camera shutter clicks, but will ultimately be the moments that we most treasure after they are long gone.

Well one thing is for sure.  Each month, it definitely gets harder and harder to have photo shoots with my little Delilah, due to her constant squirming and face-making…and she’s not even mobile yet!  As soon as she makes that first move, I’m going to have to become the baby paparazzi ;)

Delilah is growing like a little weed.  She is just on the verge of rolling and loves to babble and squeal all day long.  She’s started giggling on a daily basis, which is by far the cutest thing I have ever heard.  And she lights up with the biggest smile anytime anyone looks her way.  She even smiles at the dogs!  Haha.

It was a glorious end-of-summer day today, so we headed outside to bask in the yummy morning light.  She’s such a little doll-face!!  :)

Four Months Old! | Sydney Children’s Photographer

That’s right, folks.  We are a third of the way to her first birthday.  Time is FLYING!

Delilah is getting to be more fun by the day.  Her little personality is starting to shine through…it’s hilarious!  She loves to babble to us and spends at least half the day smiling and giggling.  She’s just starting to try rolling, but isn’t quite there yet.  For now, her favorite activity is to stand on my lap and bounce like a little bunny rabbit.  She also loves to be on my back in her wrap while I do the dishes and vacuuming.  I keep telling her it won’t be long before she will have to pitch in!  ;)

We took these pics on her four month birthday (otherwise known as Valentines Day).  She finally got to wear her BEAUTIFUL hand-made sweater from her great granny in Perth.  I kept having to distract her from playing with it so she’d look at me!  Silly baby :)

Three months old! ::sniffles:: | Sydney Baby Photographer

Well a whole quarter of a year has gone by since we first met our little Delilah.  I know I say it in every post, but I can’t BELIEVE how quickly the time is passing.  Each day seems to just fly by, and before I know it, it’s bedtime again!

She is growing like a little weed.  Her once expansive wardrobe is dwindling by the day as she grows out of adorable outfit after adorable outfit.  It’s only been three months, but when we hold up one of her newborn outfits, we can’t get over how teeny they are compared to the giant baby (comparatively speaking) she is now!

She is getting more adorable by the second, as you can see in her three-month-pictures below.  She loves to smile at mommy and daddy and is a huge fan of standing and jumping on our laps.  We couldn’t possibly love her more!
