ERIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY | BLOG

I am utterly inspired by babies, children, and the love between families. Newborn squeaks, baby curiosity, toddler giggles, laughing families...I can't get enough of it all! Nothing makes me happier than capturing those moments in a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime.

If you take a look around my website, you can get a good idea of my photographic style. My husband playfully refers to me as 'the toddler paparazzi', since I tend to let my subjects run wild, while I chase them with a camera. I usually refer to it as 'lifestyle photography'. After all, that's essentially what I'm striving to capture...life!

That's me on the left with my own little girl, Delilah. I'm constantly amazed at how quickly she grows and changes, and forever thankful that I continue to take the time to capture as many of her baby moments as possible. That's what I love most about photography. It allows us to steal away little snippets of time that might not seem like anything out of the ordinary when the camera shutter clicks, but will ultimately be the moments that we most treasure after they are long gone.

Meet Alex.

Alex is two years old and knows more about cars than I do. Seriously, it was hilarious. He could name the make and model car belonging to every person that he is acquainted with. His mum and dad told him that if he was really good for this photo shoot, that they would buy him a car magazine of his very own. As soon as they handed it over, he sat right down on the pavement and started naming all the makes of cars that he could find in the first few pages. It was so funny!

And you can imagine Alex’s delight when his parents told him that we would be taking pictures at Carrs Park in Sydney. Haha!

Meet Carley and Lauren.

Carley is ten years old and Lauren is five. These two lucky sisters had the most fantastic bedrooms. They were so bright and colorful! It made me happy just being there.

This was such a fun photoshoot, and I’m sorry to say that it was my last in Wisconsin. Goodbye snow! Hello Sydney summer

Meet Jena May and Reese.

At my wedding in 2007, Jena May was one of my adorable flower girls and Reese was only an infant! I couldn’t believe how big they had gotten in such a short amount of time. They both have the most hilarious personalities. Jena May was practically sprawled out like a supermodel for the majority of our photoshoot!

Their bedroom was absolutely AWESOME. It was so bright and colorful…I was jealous!
