Keira completely cracked me up…that girl has got more personality than she knows what to do with!  I mean, what other two-year-old strips down to nothing but a diaper and a pair of cowboy boots for a photo shoot?  Haha!

She was just oh-so-cute in her little pigtails, pink dress and boots.  And look at those gorgeous brown eyes.  How could you not love her??

Clover was soooooooo smiley and cute for our entire session.  I just loved her little smiles, adorable coos, and look at all that beautiful hair!  Plus, I just adore her name…I’ve never met a Clover before and as soon as I saw her, I knew she couldn’t ever be called anything else.

And just because you haven’t seen her in a while, here is some Delilah cuteness from this afternoon.  She was a bit grumpy, due to a less than stellar morning nap, but cute nonetheless!

And just because I never like to have a post without at least one picture, check out this fluffy cuteness.  This is Frida, taken while I was testing my new lens.  How cute is she??

Eli is one of the luckiest boys on this earth.  Why, you ask?  Because he has ME for an aunt!  That’s right…this gorgeous boy is my nephew and I couldn’t love him more.  He was 4.5 months in these pictures, and just the happiest little thing imaginable.  And with those piercing blue eyes, how could he not be happy??

We took these pictures on my visit back to the States this past week.  I was absolutely delighted to find such a picturesque scene behind my grandmother’s house in the foothills in California.  I think she thought I was insane when I said I wanted to go and take pictures in the dead weeds and foxtails, but she was delighted to see the final results.  Sometime about the way the light catches those golden foxtails that just makes them look magical.  I could have stayed there shooting all night!

First off…a new logo!  While I adored my old logo (I still do adore it, in fact) it just wasn’t practical enough for my needs, so it had to go.  But oh my, do I just LOVE my new logo!  I mean, check it out -

I will also be unveiling a brand spanking new website this week that I am SO excited about!  Again, I liked my old website, but it didn’t provide me with the features I need for my growing business.  This new one is gorgeous AND very functional…I can’t wait to show you all!  It should be fully launched by mid next week.  Yay!

Not only that, but I have a brand new and very exciting workspace!  Up until this point, I had been using my old Macbook for all of my editing.  While I love that laptop to death (literally, I think it’s on its last legs), it was time to move on and up.  And oh, how I love my new setup!  Check it out – on the left is my faithful old laptop…and on the right is my new baby.  Love it!

I’ve also recently purchased a new lens, which I am SO excited about.  It’s my dream lens, actually.  The Canon 85mm f1.2 L to be exact.  I have been drooling over that lens for almost two years, and now it’s finally all mine!  I have my first official photo shoot with that lens to share with you all later this evening.  It is every bit as amazing as I had hoped it would be

I will also be taking part in my first promotional day a week from tomorrow.  Erin Elizabeth Photography will be appearing at the Sydney Baby & Kids show in Sutherland on August 15th.  All you Sydneysiders, come on down to Sutherland and say hello!  All new clients from the show will be receiving 50% off my session fee…what a deal!  I can’t wait to meet everyone.
